I can design a new house or an addition to your existing house.  If you have a plan for a house and you would like changes made or want a totally original plan I can make your dream house a reality.  I work on a lot of additions to existing houses.  In today's market its great to be able to transform a property that you already own and bring it up to a higher level.  Often an addition can bring a change in value far beyond the cost of the construction.

Additions typically fall into one of four types; rear, front, side and second story.  Depending on the placement of your existing house on the lot and the needs of the project you might have one or some combination of these.  I will take the time to determine which way will be the most cost effective and also will meet your needs then give you a written proposal stating the cost of the design work before I begin.  There is often more than one potential solution so I break the proposal up into to phases so you can have the options priced before we complete the final drawings for construction.  Having a clear set of plans is the best way to save money on construction.



Pictured here is a before photo and what will be the after depicted in a sketch drawing.  Adding a new front porch helped to block the western light that always shines into the living room in the evenings on this house.  Adding curb appeal always helps to increase the value of a home.

Over my 25 years working as an Architect I have worked on all types of buildings.  College campus building, shopping malls, retail outlets, medical, industrial, high end interiors, restaurants, hair salons, hotels, recreation centers and the list goes on. 



Keeping my overhead low I can design and detail any type of building for you at much lower fees than you would pay at a fancy architect with a big office.



I  work with all types of consulting engineers and get your project permitted in less time than a large firm can.

This project was a great example of getting every inch out of a space.  The Owner was able to fit more booth rentals which made his business  more profitable.  Working closely with the contractor we were able to finish design and construction in only a few weeks so he could be open as soon as possible.
